oh goodness.

well, as it turns out, FIT2001 is the most awesome subject ever. basically, the only hurdle requirement is to keep a blog. i would Ph.D in blogging if it were possible.

today, i had my very first systems analysis and design lecture this morning, which was pretty good. i'm going to like this subject. after the lecture and a 2 hour break i had my lab, which was dandy. the tutor (who was filling in for my regular tutor) really got me thinking about a career in systems analysis. im really warming to the idea of being a "middleman" as he put it. the subject, they say - after a few weeks, should get us thinking like a systems analysist. i'm not sure if this is high hopes or whatever. but ok!

the group work in the labs was a bit airy-fairy which i liked. there was a set question, but not.
my group really had to think about what was being asked of us, and once we got started on the brainstorming, we were soon loaded with ideas. this is good in a way as i can imagine that in the professional world as a systems analyst, this kind of brainstorming and team work would be done on a daily basis. it's basically in the job description!
